In the 1980’s, when Malaysia’s economy was primarily agricultural based, Johfoh started off as a humble hardware dealer actively trading in building materials mainly to the Agriculture Industry in Johor state which consist of essentially PVC Piping Systems for Irrigation purposes.

Into the 1990’s, Johfoh had emerged as a major construction materials supplier which saw it offering a wide range of construction materials which includes amongst others, being a major distributor of PVC Piping Systems to other general hardware dealers. With that, Johfoh enables itself to be positioned as a reliable and one-stop hardware distributor in the state of Johor.

In addition to that, towards the second half of the decade, when Malaysia’s manufacturing sector was booming, Johfoh found itself including Non-Ferrous Metal products into its portfolio. Johfoh was the sole distributor for Salem Stainless Steel in South- East Asia at that time through its affiliated company Friends Trading Co (M) Sdn Bhd located in Perak, Malaysia.

Johfoh is currently emphasizing on providing more depth for its three major categories of products which are, PVC Piping systems and accessories, General construction materials and Stainless Steel products, thus enabling Johfoh to better meet the ever-demanding expectations from diversity of our customers. Over this period, our company has built an enviable reputation as a reliable distributor of construction materials.

Going forward into the second decade of the 21st century, Johfoh will Endeavour to sustain the role it is currently playing in the construction industry by continuously providing and at the same time sourcing for quality products from local and regional markets to our customers’ projects in the region, primarily Iskandar Malaysia, thereby being a value-adder link in the overall construction process.
